Parkfoot is family run. The brainchild of Bob and Olga Brewer in the 1970s, Parkfoot has become a delightful place for all the family to escape from everyday tedium and routine.
We aim to provide a peaceful rural retreat. The architecturally designed and landscaped park offers seclusion with a density of less than 10 homes per acre. Trees and shrubs abound and each caravan holiday home sits in green landscape.
Each pitch has a designated car park space, keeping the cars away from the holiday homes to continue that sense of rural peace, but all are parked close by for customers’ convenience.
The riverside walk allows all to enjoy the beautiful River Greta with views to Ingleborough. This is an area where you can sit and dream, enjoy a picnic, or even a paddle.
Children will enjoy the playground and exploring the woodland, riverbank and streams (Jenkins Beck and Aspland Beck).
Our Games Room is popular (especially on those rainy days) with table football, pool and table tennis. We have our library of books, videos, dvds and jigsaws. Here you’ll also find lots of useful information to help you make the most of your holidays.
Your dog is welcome but must be well behaved and kept on a lead.
Fishing is available locally on a beautiful stretch of the River Greta adjacent to Parkfoot, excellent for salmon and trout.
You can enjoy the rural atmosphere of village shops, pubs and restaurants, go walking, fishing, pot-holing, cycling, birdwatching, pony trekking or playing golf.
We are ideally placed to enjoy the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales National Parks, plus the Forest of Bowland AONB.
If you enjoy the coast we are only around half an hour from the Lancashire Coast with the attractions of Morecambe, or the elegance of Arnside.
